To achieve this objective two more components are needed in your air conditioner a compressor and an expansion valve, the compressor will increase the pressure of the refrigerant. The compressor handles its refrigerant and its gaseous state so that when it compresses gas the temperature rises along with the pressure. The temperature at the compressor outlet will be far higher at atmospheric temperature. Therefore when this hot gas passes through the condenser heat exchanger then heat can easily get ejected, a fan in the condenser unit makes this task easier. During this phase, the gas transformed into a fluid.
The condenser has an expansion valve mounted at the exit end to restrict the refrigerant flow hence reducing the pressure of the fluid. As the pressure drops one part of the refrigerant liquid is evaporated this results in a refrigerant temperature drop. This low temperature should be at the temperature lower than the room temperature so bypassing the room temperature over the evaporated coil the room temperature drops. The refrigerant gets converted to vapour during this heat absorption process.
Hence we have fulfilled the rule of an AC, that temperature inside the room is lower than the temperature outside the temperature.
